“Everyone says that Carter did not accomplish any thing. In that the accomplishments to date have caused the gap between the rich and poor to widen and the middle class reduced, could it be that Carter actually accomplished a lot by not adding to that. I think that Obama would have been better off not trying to accomplish anything. I think that this system is probably completely controlled by the wealthy. In that we were headed for a depression Obama was forced into doing something. A depression will allow the rich to get even richer, so it will still probably happen. The only way Obama has been able to accomplish any thing is to compromise in ways that allow the rich to get richer. Probably the only reason that Obama got the health care through was that the media completely turn the public against it and it became so compromised that the rich seen a way to make money from it. I feel that the poor have been so divided by the wealth owned republicans media, that it is all over but the crying. Here is what I see as the ultimate division accomplished by the republicans. When I was younger the democratic south was conservative. Who does the south now see as conservative? If the south had been democratic liberals, the republicans would be liberals today and conservative would be the dirty word. People are sheep.”
