“Look, I am one of Obama's biggest fans. He works harder, cares more and is more intelligent than any president that I have seen lately. In that you do not seem to be a republican, I decided to give you the courtesy of a responds. Realistically speaking Obama's hands have been tied by the republicans. I was just trying to come up with an idea that both sides could live with. That in its self is not realistic, but in that I am a want to be liberal, I am sometimes more idealistic than realistic. It seem to me that our jobs are being lost to the cheap labor of the world. Americans chose to buy cheap foreign products while their fellow Americans were loosing their jobs because of it. At one time we could have bought American to prevent the loss of jobs. It is now too late. We no long manufacture much of anything. I believe that the human is capable of providing the survival needs and more for every one on earth. We have the technology and resources to do so if we had the will. My idea was to give businesses cheap labor and at the same time subsidize the worker to the point of having a decent wage. There are more workers than jobs in this country and people need to be taken care of one way or another. Right now charity tries to take up the slack, but cannot handle it. Socialism of different kinds helps out. Cheap subsidized labor would pull manufacturing jobs back into this country and at least we would be helping people that were working rather than helping people who were not. This would also get rid of all illegals. Of course rules and regulation would be needed to stop any abuse by companies. (enlightenment) As for being small minded, every time I think that I know something, I become small minded and I do that often. No hard feelings!
My creed: It is only when you think that you know what you are talking about, that things become impossible.”
