“Sorry, but glad that you responded. It is an excellent responds. It really got me to thinking of a better way to address my fears. My fear is that the right wing republicans will get into the presidency. Yes it could very well be that Obama has compromised too much. Here is what I am worried about. In that Obama might have used a persons championed cause as a compromising tool to get republican votes on something he was trying to get through, will cause that person to vote for the republicans. That would be playing right into the republicans hands. I do not think that it is going to help their cause by putting the fox in the hen house. Getting that persons vote is probably the reason the republicans wanted to get Obama to use their cause as a compromise to start with. I get this feeling that a certain group of wealthy have control and probably not much can be done. There is probably nothing that I could do or say to change anything even if I knew what I was talking about.
I would venture to say that I basically feel the same as you do about the Democrats, medicare and social security, but as wrong as I was about you the last time, maybe I should keep my mouth shut.”
