Why Democracy Is Public: The American Dream Beats the Nightmare

The American people need to wake up! The rich have nearly gained complete control, and with the onset of free trade, you no longer matter. Cheap unregulated labor has been opened to the wealthy and the wealthy have the whole world for buying and selling.  It might not be long before the only change you are going to see is in which rich mans candidate gets elected, Democrat and or Republican. If you are poor or middle class, you have been divided to the point of not having a voice. Where do we go from here? Up if you are rich and down if you are poor or middle class. It use to be that with hard work and a little luck you could at least become middle class. In that I do not see any way to reunite the people, it looks to me like those days are over. Of course I could be wrong, (hope so) but I have this strong feeling that I am not. I do not know that Obama is not bought and paid for by the wealthy. In that they are nearly in complete control I do not see that it matters. It would seem to me that he could very well be one of the most intelligent, most hard working and most caring President this country has ever seen, so I will with hold judgment for now. That said what could he possibly accomplish in this dieing system?
