In that the gap between the rich and poor is growing faster every day I
would venture to say that the rich have divided the poor to the point of
just about having complete control. Looking at history have you ever
seen a time when the rich needed a large middle class, to get richer or
to stay rich? Think about it. I would even go so far as to say that a
large middle class has only slowed them down due to the competition of
the new wealthy it produced, and worse yet for them, some of the new
wealthy actually want to give back. No wonder the rich are working so
hard to eliminate the middle class.
