“First, what did I write that made
you think that I thought that the Mexican people are the one buying
and taking drugs. I really like the Mexican people. They are family
orientated and a very friendly and happy people. It is the Americans
that are buying most of the drugs. I liked your comments, but think
that you are wrong about the cartel being capable of competing. If
the drugs were legal the Mexican cartel would turn into a legal
corporate business that would probably go bankrupt from all of the
world competition. If countries produced it and made it free (not a
chance of that happening, but if they did), the cartel would
definitely need to turn to other crime, and that is not to say they
would not, but they would not be able to make money from drugs. If
they were capable of competing, it would be a legal business that
would provide jobs and eliminate the need for violence. The US at one
time had a alcohol cartel, (organized crime) with the legalization of
alcohol that cartel is not as much of a problem as it was and would
be even less of a problem if all drugs were legalized. There are some
thing that can not be legalized, so we will always have some problems
to cope with.”
