“Some people actually believe that reducing tax on the rich will cause them to use that extra money for the purpose of creating jobs. The rich are more likely to use that money for the purpose of eliminating their competition and preventing any progress that will hurt them. That makes them a lot more money than starting a new business. The oil companies are a good example. They use their money to stop the progress of alternative energy sources. I guess it could be argued that hiring people for this purpose creates new jobs.”
