Bridgewater Founder Ray Dalio: Second Adolf Hitler More Likely In Weak Economy

Commented Sep 22, 2012 at 11:32:36 in Business

“Here is what I think has happened and the impending results. The world has been opened up to all of the unregulated cheap labor of the world. Manufacturing world wide has flocked to this cheap labor. The job losses caused by the loss of manufacturing has caused countries through out the world to see their tax base reduced. At the same time the unemployed have had to become, as the republicans would say, freeloaders, which is an even greater drain on the tax base. To compensate for this, government is cutting back by laying off government worker and doing away with social help of the ones being thrown out of work. This only adds to the problem. When these so called freeloaders find themselves unable to freeload any longer, many will pick up their guns (that the republicans have fought so hard to insure they have, I thank them for that) and use them for further freeloading. (By the way I am a liberal that has never been for gun control) In that the Hitler types usually prevail when guns get involved, I can also see a Hitler in our future.”
